Yorktown Center announced the opening of The Square, a vibrant new outdoor gathering space that marks the completion of Phase 1 of the center's ongoing redevelopment and transformation into a dynamic mixed-use destination.

LOMBARD, Ill., June 15, 2026 /PRNewswire-³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø/ -- Yorktown Center announced the opening of The Square, a vibrant new outdoor gathering space that marks the completion of Phase 1 of the center's ongoing redevelopment and transformation into a dynamic mixed-use destination.

A ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebration will take place at 10 a.m. on June 17, featuring representatives from the Village of Lombard, Pacific Retail Capital Partners, and Synergy Construction Group, developer of the adjacent Yorktown Reserve residential community.

The opening of The Square marks the completion of Phase 1 of Yorktown Center's long-term redevelopment strategy, which includes residential, retail, entertainment and park-like gathering spaces designed to create a vibrant mixed-use destination for the western suburbs.

Located at the heart of the property, The Square provides a new center entrance and venue for year-round programming, including pop-up markets, live music, art activations, seasonal celebrations and community events.
